Every listing has an official closing-fee source. Separate charges are labeled; unpublished costs still need written confirmation. This is a comparison directory, not a best-to-worst ranking.

A better way to decide

Don't just count the leads. Know what you keep.

A referral only helps your business if the numbers, the client and the time commitment make sense for you.

  1. 01

    Read the full fee.

A percentage at closing may sit alongside a membership, setup fee or discounted listing commission. Compare the total.

  2. 02

    Check the client agreement.

Know whether the introduction is shared, how long fees apply, and what happens if that client comes back later.

  3. 03

    Match your capacity.

Fast responses and steady follow-up matter. Choose a program you can actually work well.

Good questions. Clear answers.

Before you join a referral network.

A real estate referral company introduces buyers or sellers to agents. Every program in this directory has an official source confirming a referral fee tied to a completed transaction. Some also have separate membership or other charges, which are shown separately.

No. It describes when the referral fee is earned. A program can also charge a membership, subscription or other fee before a deal closes. We separate those costs on every card. If a separate cost is not published, it is marked for confirmation rather than described as free.

HomeLight, Agent Pronto, FastExpert, EffectiveAgents, SoldNest, Redfin Partner and ReferralCloud publish no-upfront or no-monthly-fee referral options. ReadyConnect and Veterans United Realty also describe closing-based models. Review each guide and current agreement, because optional products and specific referral terms can add costs.

It’s generally a percentage of the commission on the referred side, not the home’s sale price. For example, a 25% fee on a $10,000 commission is $2,500. Your contract defines the fee base, including any applicable brokerage charges, and when it’s due.

No. Some accept applications from individual agents, some are invitation only, and others work through selected brokerages. Many consider your experience, recent closings, reviews, response times and local demand. An application or a free profile doesn’t guarantee acceptance or referrals.

No. This is a curated comparison directory, not a performance ranking. The right fit depends on your market, experience, follow-up capacity and net commission. We separate business models and label restricted entry so you can make a useful shortlist.

We checked official agent pages, help centers and fee terms on October 22, 2026. Each guide includes the source confirming a closing-based referral fee. Programs without that evidence, and a program with a published $2,497 signup cost, were left out. An active application does not guarantee openings in your market; your current signed agreement controls.
